Berlin Berlin

Berlin- what a city. Filled with the most incredible quirky thrift shops, 5 storey charity shops and in December, the most wonderfully festive Christmas Markets. I was not expecting to explore half as much as I did, but 5 days in Berlin was just amazing. On Sunday I managed to find a flea market drowned in the rain, but still absolutely worth going to. It made me realise I will definitely have to return in the sunshine to find more treats. You know it has been a good holiday when you have to book another suitcase home!

The Lu Flux pop up shop

The wonderful Lu Flux pop up shop has taken over a space just off spitafields market. If you are by any chance nearby it is there until Christmas eve with alphabet cushions made to order and friendly foxes to keep you warm. I am super proud to be a part of it

Pattern Playing

With all these cold wet rainy days I find myself with a few more hours inside so my new plan is to play with patterns a lot more. Here is an example of a bib dress I created for a potential new J&H which I have now made into a dress for myself. I found this end of line liberty floral fabric near Shepherds bush and knew it would find its way into it's very own garment. Now all I am thinking is what to make next..

Saturday treasure

I love saturdays!! Especially when good treasure is found like this incredible 70s teacup set, complete with all 6 saucers and side plates for £1, What a treat...

And Noahs ark tapestry bag?? I think so!
A 50p shire's horse tray and vintage motor placemats...

And without doubt my favourite...a silver jubilee linen wallhanging, with box, what an absolute delight!
